you might find yourself looking at the following error:
Could not load file or assembly ‘AntiXssLibrary, Version=126.96.36.199, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=d127efab8a9c114f’ or one of its dependencies. The located assembly’s manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0×80131040)
The problem here is that the version of AntiXssLibrary available with Dynamics SDK does not match the version referenced by the portal dlls(which also come with Dynamics SDK).
On top of that, there is no “188.8.131.52” version of AntiXssLibrary avaialble for download anymore. For instance, as of now you can download v4.2 from the following link:
However, even deploying that version of AntiXssLibrary does not help right away. It’s still a different version, so .NET still cannot resolve assembly references.
So, long story short, eventually I made it work by redirecting assembly versions in web.config:
